The Bureau of Labor Statistics of the United States has created the Occupational Outlook Handbook. The handbook catalogs thousands and thousands of jobs that are available in hundreds of different job categories. Select the link to visit the handbook. There you will be able to access the information in three ways:
º
By keyword
º
By going through its index
º
By occupational clusters
Start by simply selecting and scrolling down the index. This will give you a feel for the many jobs that people actually do!
Select three to five jobs from the index that interest you. Write a brief description of each as directed in Activity 1-4.
